Myeloid Monthly to launch with expert insight on the evolving myeloid classification landscape
13 March 2026
The inaugural episode of Myeloid Monthly, a new, live video podcast series from VJHemOnc will bring together leading experts to discuss breaking developments in the evolving classification of myeloid neoplasms.
Hosted by Amer Zeidan, the episode will feature expert insights from Robert Hasserjian and Sanam Loghavi, who will explore the main updates from the upcoming Classification Advancement Meeting (CAM) held in Chicago. This meeting will gather international experts to discuss and align the existing classification systems for myeloid malignancies.
In recent years, parallel frameworks developed by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Consensus Classification (ICC) have created complexities for clinicians and researchers navigating diagnostic criteria and disease definitions. Discussions at CAM aim to establish a single, unified classification framework for myeloid neoplasms to simplify diagnosis and patient management, and sharing this these updates with the wider HCP community is an important educational update.
